In order to use the information you are going to receive with your integration (“External List” type), you will need to use a new type of list: the External List.
This new type of element that you can add to your blocks, allows you to convert the elements received from your integration to a manageable list format.
In this tutorial you will see how to create a List of this type.
Go to the Tags section through the left main menu of the platform and enter the Lists option.
Click the upper right button “+” to create a new list.
A window will be opened to configure the list to your liking. The difference is that now you can choose the type of list you want to create. This time you will have to choose “External List” and once everything is configured, click “Accept”.
When you have created the list as an External List, search for it in the list.
Remember that if you need to, you can add an extended list to this newly created list, as external lists support this feature.
Regardless of the above, you will notice that instead of showing the number of elements, you will see “External”.
Click above and you will access the configuration of the external list with the following window:
Let us go by parts, starting with choosing an integration for this list.
The first step is to click on “Select an integration”.
In this window you have a list with your integrations of “External List” type, where you must select the integration to need.
Once an integration is associated with this list, just link or map the data from the integration form to the values in this list (Value, Description and “Data”).
As we can see in the image above, we have the elements “Value” and “Description“, each with the possibility to configure its content.
For each item in the list, the name to display “Value” and “Description” will contain the formula you configure (you will see later).
On the other hand, if you have added an extended list, the fields of this form will also appear here to link or map.
Con los siguientes campos:
These would also appear in the external list configuration window:
To do so, click on the configuration area of each element as shown below:
The calculator will be displayed where you can configure the formula you choose for the content of this element.
The idea here is to map the information of the integration form. The integration form will appear in the bottom drop-down in the “Forms” section.
As well as all the fields it contains:
Now that you know it, map all the elements of your list correctly and to your liking.
Or the delete icon that allows you to remove the mapping settings from all elements:
