Learn how to assign documents to dossiers.
When you insert documents into a dossier, you can share it with other people or groups. They will be able to see all the documents that are in that dossier and will have certain privileges on these documents.

Go to the library, select the document/s and assign them directly to dossiers, by clicking on the top button Assign to dossiers.

Also when you create a new dossier you have the direct option to add documents to it.

When you open a document in the library, you can see that it has a sharing section:

In this section, you can add the document you are in to an existing dossier, or create a new dossier and assign it automatically.
If you enter a dossier from the library, you can see the list of documents it contains (if it has one) and add new documents.
